By using this website you consent to the collection, processing and use of your data as described below. This website can generally be visited without registration.
3. Collection and processing of personal data
We process personal data that you actively provide to us, as well as data that is collected automatically when you visit our website.
Actively submitted data: surname, first name, position, company, address, telephone number, email address and any further information you provide via contact forms, by email or by telephone.
Automatically collected data: IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and pages visited. These data are processed to ensure operation, security and for statistical analysis.
4. Purpose of processing
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries and making contact
- Initiation, conclusion and execution of advisory and brokerage agreements
- Provision of our advisory and brokerage services
- Fulfilment of statutory obligations (in particular supervisory, tax and record-keeping law)
- Ensuring the secure and stable operation of our website
- Statistical analysis of website usage
5. Legal bases
Where the GDPR is applicable, we base our processing on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), the fulfilment of legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and our overriding legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), in particular in the efficient operation of this website and in communicating with you.
6. Disclosure to third parties
Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, you have given your express consent, or we are required to do so by law, by a regulatory authority or by a court order.
In particular, we share data with insurers, reinsurers, other brokers, IT service providers and tax, legal and audit advisers to the extent necessary in the context of our brokerage and advisory activities.
7. Transfer of data abroad
In the course of processing, personal data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular to providers of hosting, analytics and communication services. A transfer will only take place if the recipient country offers an adequate level of data protection or appropriate safeguards (in particular EU standard contractual clauses) are in place.
8. Hosting
This website is hosted on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address) are processed by the hosting provider in order to deliver the website and to repel attacks. Further information can be found in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
9. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the website and — with your consent — analytics cookies (see section 10).
You can set your browser to generally refuse cookies, allow them only in individual cases, or delete them automatically when you close the browser. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.
10. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyse information about your use of the website.
The information collected in this way (in particular truncated IP address, browser, device, pages visited, time spent) is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The IP address is truncated by activating IP anonymisation within member states of the EU and EEA before transmission.
We use Google Analytics exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31 revFADP), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. You can additionally prevent data collection by Google Analytics via a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Further information on terms of use and privacy can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.
11. Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us. These include in particular browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. These data are not merged with other data sources and are evaluated solely to ensure fault-free operation and to improve our offering.
12. Retention period
We process and store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil our contractual and statutory obligations. Data that is no longer required and for which no statutory retention obligations exist (e.g. under contract, tax or supervisory law) will be deleted or anonymised.
13. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS/TLS.
14. Your rights
You have — within the scope of applicable law — in particular the following rights:
- Right of access to the data processed about you
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure / deletion of your data
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
- Right to withdraw consent given at any time with effect for the future
To exercise your rights, please contact Info@ahbroker.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), and in the EU the competent data protection authority.
15. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time in order to adapt it to changed legal requirements or changes to our services and data processing. The version published on this website at the time of your visit shall apply.
